GENERAL MEDICAL INFORMATION

Whatever surgery you are considering, our team of highly skilled surgeons are always willing to advise and answer questions.

The initial consultation is very important, the surgeon will need a complete medical history.  Be ready to inform your surgeon if you suffer from any allergy, are taking any vitamins, medicines or if you smoke.

You will be able to discuss your goals and expectations with the surgeon and whether any additional elective procedure is necessary.  Your surgeon will explain the techniques and  type of anesthesia he will use, the facility where the surgery will be performed, and the risks and costs involved.

Importantly, do not hesitate to ask your surgeon any questions you may have, especially those regarding your expectations and concerns about the results.

Your surgeon will give you specific instructions on how to prepare for surgery, including guidelines on eating and drinking, smoking and taking certain vitamins and medication.

Most cosmetic surgery is usually carried out on an outpatient basis; only occasionally does it require an inpatient stay.  So be sure to arrange for someone to accompany you home and look after you for a few days following surgery.
